Fenghuang County Miao Society Drum Dance Team was established in 2018. It provides free training sessions on Miao drum dance throughout the year and now has over 200 students.
The team actively participated in major events such as Fenghuang Miao New Year, Spring Festival and second Xiangxi Prefecture Tourism Development Conference. It has been invited multiple times to such places as Jinan, Chongqing and Yunnan for Miao cultural exchange and display. It has become a brilliant business card for Fenghuang County to carry out external cultural exchanges.
